Overview

Moda, The McEwan is part of the re-development masterplan of the former Scottish & Newcastle Brewery site in the Fountain bridge area of Edinburgh. The neighbourhood takes its name from William McEwan who opened the Fountain Brewery in the area in 1856. 

Moda, The McEwan is located in the heart of Fountain bridge, the heart of the West End, just a few minutes' walk from Haymarket Train Station and Edinburgh's Financial District.

Comprising of 476 brand new rental homes with access to state-of-the-art amenities including residents gym and studio, cinema room, co-working space, shared lounges and public squares. Residents can enjoy one of two private dining rooms with panoramic views over the city and Edinburgh Castle.

Project ff&e was appointed to bring the interior vision to life, overseeing the design and installation of:

  • Apartment Interiors: 337 bespoke kitchens, 570 fitted wardrobes, and a curated selection of loose and fitted furniture across all residential units.
  • Amenity Spaces: The complete supply and installation of all loose furniture for the development’s communal and social hubs.

The result is a seamless blend of style and functionality that redefines build-to-rent living in the Scottish capital.
