Located a short walk from UWE Bristol's Frenchay Campus, Kingfisher Court is a contemporary, eco-conscious development providing high-quality accommodation for 330 students. Arranged around a landscaped central courtyard, the scheme blends private living with vibrant communal social and study spaces.
Project Summary
Project ff&e was appointed by Bowmer + Kirkland to deliver the design, supply and installation of fitted furniture across this news PBSA development. Our scope included bedroom furniture comprising desks, wardrobes, headboards and beds to 314 en-suite bedrooms, together with complete fitted furniture packages to 16 self-contained studios, including kitchenettes.
In addition, we designed, supplied and installed 52 fully fitted cluster kitchens, incorporating kitchen units, worktops, sinks, taps, appliances and breakfast bars.
Beyond the residential accommodation, our team also delivered bespoke joinery and fitted furniture throughout the building's amenity spaces, including the reception desk, staff kitchen, tea point, study rooms, post room facilities and a fully equipped private dining kitchen, helping to create a cohesive, functional environment throughout the development.
Our dedicated site team, led by an Installation Manager and Site Supervisor, maintained a steady pace of 25 rooms a week over an 18-week schedule.
