Court Place Gardens, Oxford

Fitted and loose furniture across 71 homes and the Mansion House

Overview

Court Place Gardens is an award-winning student accommodation development located within a conservation area, incorporating the sensitive refurbishment of a Grade II listed Mansion House alongside high-quality new-build homes.

The scheme has received significant industry recognition, including Student Accommodation Project of the Year at the Education Property Awards 2026, Best Large Residential Development of the Year at the Ox Prop Awards 2025, and a plaque award in the New Buildings category from the Oxford Preservation Trust.

Replacing a 1970s development, the project increases residential provision from 36 to 71 sustainable and affordable homes. In addition, the restored Mansion House now provides 13 dedicated study-bedrooms for graduate students, two common rooms and associated shared facilities, enhancing both the character and functionality of the site.

Project ff&e were appointed to design, supply and install fitted and loose bedroom furniture across the development, alongside loose kitchen and living furniture including dining tables and chairs, sofas, coffee tables and TV cabinets.

Within the Mansion House, our team delivered a carefully considered refurbishment package, providing both fitted and loose bedroom furniture as well as loose furniture for the communal amenity spaces.

A key aspect of the project was the development of bespoke fitted furniture within the Grade II listed Mansion House. Each piece was thoughtfully designed to integrate with the building’s historic features and spatial constraints, balancing modern functionality with heritage sensitivity.
